The translation of a well-written book by a Slovak author collective (foreword by prof. MUDr. Jiřina Bartůňková, DrSc. ). The publication is beneficial for both professionals and laymen - it is intended especially for students of secondary and university studies, to the lab technicians, to the medics, pharmacists, biochemists, biologists and, of course, doctors. This textbook has a lot of extra features that have not been presented in existing Czech immunology books: includes chapters on prion diseases, immunotoxicology, the relationship of the nervous, endocrine and immune systems. These are the areas that most authors usually avoid because of their complexity. The book should definitely not be missing in your library.
