It will be almost 6 years since Vašík was born to us. Life suddenly turned upside down. The maternity ward told us they suspected Down Syndrome, and that was confirmed. Shock for all, tears, handicapped child. WHY? Wheel of all examinations. The doctor gave us contact for early care. It was a turning point in our lives. When the workers came to our house for the first time with their services, I was excited and knew that thanks to them we could do it! Regular visits to our home, meetings with others, stays, advice, lectures. THANK YOU! The family goes on, Vašík is perfectly integrated in the kindergarten, where he goes with his sister. And now there are one more of us.

The Třebíč Regional Charity is one of the ten organizational units of the Diocesan Charity Brno. It was established on September 1, 1992 as a non-profit church organization. He works in the social, health and humanitarian fields. It provides 25 services in the Třebíč district, in which more than 5,000 people who find themselves in a difficult life situation help each year through 279 employees. Its mission is to serve people in danger or distress, regardless of their age, sex, political thinking, family arrangement, health condition, sexual orientation, social and economic situation and status, their membership of an ethnic or national minority, faith religion and culture.
