Wolfram Katzinger of Olšová, a former Johannite knight, breaks with the Johannite Order. But is it possible to leave the order without losing honour? Moreover, Wolfram considers the possibility of entering the service of King John of Luxembourg, weakened by the death of his father and oppressed by a part of the Bohemian nobility led by Henry of Lipá. Benes of Vřesov also leaves his services after a disagreement with his fief lord Peter of Rožmberk and tries to rebuild his pillaged and burned native fortress Vřesov, although he was convinced that he no longer had any feelings for it.
