Indian Summer - DVD

The tragicomic story of a young man in his seventies, an eternal dreamer, a pawn and a recessionist ( V. Brodsky), who, unlike his beloved, worried mistress ( S. Zázvorková), refuses to accept the fate of resigning old age and lives his life as a never-ending challenge, in which every day it becomes a wonderful opportunity for him to a new adventure.
Together with his faithful and devoted friend from the operetta, he transfers theatrical roles to life and thus fulfills his unfulfilled dreams. He acts as an emeritus member of the Metropolitan Operetta, who buys castles, as an auditor, climber and benefactor. In a series of grateful comic situations, full of subtle and black humor, he fights with his wife for his carefree and independence, with which he proves again and again what the ART OF LIVING is.

This film about friendship, love and non-dying is dedicated to Vlastimil Brodský.
