Matěj Mlynář uncovers the case that started it all
Matěj Mlynář uncovers the case that started it all. His story goes back to the nineties, when the Czech Republic resembled the Wild West.
With just a few days to go until the new millennium, Captain Václav Hrách is tasked with finding a missing prominent businessman who has plenty of enemies in town. The Jindřichův Hradec detective is disillusioned with the new social conditions in the country, and his work isn't made any easier by his eccentric partner, Matěj Mlynář, whose wife recently passed away. Together, they delve into a world of crime where money holds more power than justice.
Time is running out, the number of suspects is growing, and the town is revealing its dark side, along with the greed of people who will stop at nothing in their pursuit of wealth and power.
