Inseparable

Only 66 years after it was written, an autobiographical novel from the pen of Simone de Beauvoir, the famous representative of existentialism and feminism in French literature, has just been published. The author considered her story too "intimate" to publish. It tells the story of a deep friendship between two girls who share the drama of their first love, but are also united by their resistance to social conventions and the traditional female role in life. The book comes to readers with a foreword by the author's adopted daughter Sylvie Le Bon de Beauvoir, as well as many authentic photographs.
