Interpreter

Interpreter Revelle spent her childhood travelling the world – and as a result, she is now fluent in eleven languages. She translates statements from witnesses, victims and defendants at crime scenes and in courtrooms across London. It's a stressful job – although not as stressful as the process she's currently going through: trying to adopt a little boy, Elliot. She's determined to be the kind of mother she never had herself. While working on a case where a murder suspect is likely to evade justice, Revelle risks everything – the adoption and her career – and deliberately mistranslates his alibi to ensure his conviction. No one must ever find out she tampered with the case – or she'll lose her son and her job. But someone already knows what she did… and they want their own justice.
