Invisible injuries

It was supposed to start out so idyllic. The first dance, the first confession, the first kiss... All this was to befall sixteen-year-old Ruth. But it couldn't have been 1941, and she wouldn't have had a yellow star on her chest. Instead of the satin slippers for her first ball that her father promised her, all Ruth has to look forward to are hard clogs and a year of life in Terezín. The incredibly evocative story of two young people, Ervin and Ruth, is based on true events.
