Ishmael's Ghosts - DVD

Ismael (Mathieu Amalric) is a film director who claims to be a widower. He once married the young Carlotta (Marion Cotillard), but she disappeared without a trace a few years later. Since then, Ismael has been haunted by nightmares, which he tries to keep at bay with alcohol and pills.
Twenty years later, Ismael meets an astrophysicist named Sylvia (Charlotte Gainsbourg) at a party. They grow close and begin a harmonious relationship. But then, a woman suddenly appears, claiming to be Ismael's missing wife. This kicks off a completely unpredictable story that blends a thriller with a romance and a spy drama.
