Jáchym, throw him in the machine (NEW DIGITALIZED FILM) - DVD

Is man the master of his own destiny, or is everything given by a higher power? František Koudelka (Luděk Sobota), a shy and indecisive loser, entrusts his life to a higher power in the form of a computerized fitness chart that precisely specifies his "happy" and "critical" days.
The first film script by the author duo Zdeněk Svěrák and Ladislav Smoljak was directed by the king of Czech film parody Oldřich Lipský.

DIGITALIZED FILM
The newly digitized version will ensure that the film is edited "field by field". The digital editing process begins with scanning the film in 4K resolution. It is a special device with locking pins to ensure maximum image stability. This is followed by the removal of image and sound impurities, in two stages - first semi-automatically, followed by a field-by-field manual cleaning.

The digitisation of this film, which was donated by Milada Kučerová and Eduard Kučera, was carried out by the Karlovy Vary IFF in cooperation with UPP and Soundsquare, the National Film Archive and the State Cinematography Fund in 2021.
