Jackson 5: Jackson 5 Christmas Album (Edition 2017) - LP

The Jacksons (at the beginning of The Jacksons, then briefly J5 and after the last change again The Jacksons Five) is an American music quintet active in the period 1966-1990. He hails from Gary, Indiana and played R & B, soul, funk. In the early 1970s, they were considered a “pop music phenomenon,“ and it was here that two of its members began a later successful solo career: Jermaine and the more successful Michael, however, Jermaine Jackson later sang solo as well as Michael (their sister Janet was not a member of the band, she sang with her brothers only a few times).

Jackson 5 was an important part of the era of popular music at the time, releasing 4 major singles: “I Want You Back“, “ABC“, “The Love You Save“, and “I' ll Be There“. They later released other hits such as “Mama' s Pearl“, “Never Can Say Goodbye“ and “Dancing Machine“.

After Michael Jackson embarked on a solo career, the band' s popularity slowly waned - but the band never officially ended its activities. The band was revived in 2012 for a tour called Unity Tour.
