A romantic comedy about a confirmed bachelor, Doctor Faust, who cares for nothing but his work. As a lifelong bachelor, he shies away from women and leads a dull, dreary life. One day, however, a charming and mysterious young lady appears and shows a great interest in him. From that moment on, problems arise. Doctor Faust, a man of cool reason, will soon have to admit that he has probably fallen in love with this seductive she-devil.

The everyday worries of ordinary people are the main focus of all three stories in this anthology film.
• Taxi, prosím (Taxi, Please): The first story is about a taxi driver and his customers.
• Dálky (Distances): The hero of the second story is again Mr Kalina, who works at an airport where an acquaintance asks him to look after an orphaned girl from Africa overnight.
• Zaza: A shy cutter from a fashion salon and the ageing lothario Hadraba, the salon's manager, are both interested in a girl from a hat shop.

Florián, 1961, 88 min., colour
Florián the farmer is tired of moving the portable chapel between the villages of Zbořov and Spáňovice. He decides to support the proposal to build a proper brick chapel in Zbořov. For his efforts, he is rewarded by a saint who sends him a golden cord. With its help, Florián can control the weather. He becomes famous in the area for his accurate meteorological forecasts. However, the people in his village begin to rebel against the constant weather changes that the farmer causes. This fairy-tale comedy, with beautiful hand-painted sets inspired by the paintings and drawings of Josef Lada, is both a very sweet fairy tale for children and a very successful satire on communist madness.

In her dreams, she is a cosmonaut, a famous singer, and a model housewife and mother of quadruplets. Will she ever snap out of her fantasies?
