Janů Petra: Petra & Petřina (4x CD) - CD

Great singer & legendary guitarist = super rockpop
New remastering from belts!

The name and packaging clearly indicate this: cooperation of Petra Janů and Ota Petřina. An excellent singer and excellent guitarist / composer / producer met in the mid-70s at C & To Vocal.
For the next few seasons, Ota was almost the exclusive supplier of music, Zdeněk Rytíř was the majority author of the lyrics, and Petra was the performer with an extraordinary drive.

If Jiří Schelinger was a secret rock trump card at the time of rigid normalization, then Petra Janů held a similarly high electric torch in the ladies category. It is surprising how many sharpened guitars we managed to record (and release) at that time, how excellent musicians could hide under the Pro-rock brand and what vocal energy Petra decorated the songs with.

The years 1978 to 1984 were a joint ride on rock and roll, pop rock, hard rock, disco rock and finally partly synthrock wave. From hit songs on Motorest to really hard / heavy motifs on Explode! and lyricist refreshment on Me & we up to a monolithic author ' s volume Volume 50.

The albums are complemented by bonuses, biographical text and photographs from the archives of Alan Pajer, who was behind all the LP covers.
