Jeroen van Veen: Pour Amélie

LP Record Tiersen's enchanting soundtracks for the films "Amélie" and "Good Bye, Lenin!" for solo piano. French multi-instrumentalist Yann Tiersen (*1970) established himself as an outstanding contemporary composer in just a few years, thanks to his soundtracks for the films "Amélie" (2001) and "Good Bye, Lenin!" (2003). Tiersen's melancholic sound language, with its influences from pop music, chanson, folklore and minimal music, has long since found a home outside the film community and works brilliantly without the big screen. As early as 2005, the "leading representative of minimalism of our time", Jeroen van Veen, recorded some of Tiersen's pieces for his "Minimal Piano Collection."
