Jethro Tull: RSD - North Sea Oil - LP

As part of the event, artists all over the world express sympathy for classical music stores and release a variety of rare recordings on their support on physical media, the sale of which can be realized in an old-fashioned way, ie by classical distribution. Such recordings are often only released in limited series. RSD 2019 also includes a ten-inch vinyl Jethro Tull containing recordings from the single North Sea Oil / Elegy and Home EP from 1979. It is published in 6,000 copies.

The famous British rock band, whose central character is the singer, guitarist and flute player Ian Anderson, was founded in 1967. Jethro Tull was originally dedicated to experimental blues rock, later their music absorbed elements of classical music, folk, jazz and hard rock. With the Stand Up record, they reached the top of the British charts in 1969, but their immortal fame was ensured mainly by the 1971 Aqualung record.
