Josef KajetánTyl: Strakonice piper

A classic full of acting legends: Petr Štěpánek, Iva Janžurová, Jana Hlaváčová, Blanka Bohdanová or Tatjana Medvecká. Filmed in 1980. Are bagpipes a cursed instrument or do they belong to honest old Czech music? Money moved the world even in the days of Shwanda the piper. Even back then they said: "Enter the market of the world, but don't go without money. Money is the hever of the world. " And it is for the money that Švanda goes out into the world. The Strakonice Bagpiper is one of the most performed works of Tyl in the Czech theatre.
