Jules Verne: School of Robinsons

Vern's lesser-known adventure novel, in the style of the so-called. Robinsonades, but with science fiction elements from the Strange Journeys series. The novel was also published in Czech under the title Two Robinsons. The story of the book begins in San Francisco with the auction of the Pacific island of Spencer, located about 860 miles off the coast of California. The island would eventually be acquired for four million dollars in a duel with millionaire Taskinar by Californian industrialist William T. Kolderup.
