Jurassic World - DVD

Twenty-two years ago, the dream of eccentric millionaire John Hammond tragically ended. He wanted to create a Jurassic Park with live exhibits on a remote island using dinosaur DNA. But a lot has changed since then. The park is now running at full capacity, with millions of enthusiastic visitors passing through each year, watching dozens of "extinct" animals in action with wide-eyed wonder. However, the park's management is constantly looking for new ways to make this unique attraction even more appealing. And that's when the complications begin.

The park's stern manager, Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), who sees the animals primarily as numbers, is a strong supporter of scientific experiments with new species. In contrast, biologist Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) sees them mainly as a danger, especially creatures not created by nature, but by a laboratory. Events prove him right when one such pet literally breaks free and starts adding park employees to its diet, and later the visitors, among whom are Claire's two nephews who have come to visit their aunt for the holidays.

This is no longer about higher revenues or maintaining prestige. The goal for everyone has become mere survival.
