Kadanland

In the paranoid atmosphere of a small town in the former Sudetenland, where everyone is someone's classmate or cousin, two childhood friends try to hide a terrible secret. They grew up together in the 1980s on a grey estate in a land of mountains, vanished villages and giant power station chimneys. Robert went on to graduate and marry a beautiful classmate, while the weak and alcoholic Ozzy, the grandson of one of the last Germans from Kaduna, never grew up and is still going from one trouble to another. Just when Robert is getting fed up with him, the biggest, most fateful trouble brings them together forever. Why did the annoying insurance salesman die? Why did Ozzy's old Grandpa Otto keep a gun hidden?
