Kamberská Karolína: Hořkosladce - CD

Karolína Kamberská was previously known as part of the band she formed with her sister Lucie Steinhauserová – the Sestry Steinovy (Stein Sisters). Since 2001, the sisters have released three CDs of original songs (Lilie polní, Můj tanec, Jen děcko se bojí) and one album of witty arrangements of folk songs for young children (Měsíček svítí), earning them a loyal audience and the respect of music critics.

After nine years together, the sisters decided in 2009 to go their separate ways and, as they put it, become each other's fans. In the winter of the same year, Karolína finished writing the last songs for her solo album. However, the collection of songs had been in the making for over two years. Karolína invited just a few kindred musicians to Elements studio – guitarists Honza Ponocný (Circus Ponorka, V. Koubek, etc.) and Honza Horáček (Goodfellas, M. Žbirka, etc.), cellist Dorota Barová (Tara Fuki, Kuzmich Orchestra, etc.) and drummer and percussionist David Landštof (Druhá tráva, Lenka Dusilová, etc.), who had previously featured on the last two Sestry Steinovy records.
