Kamberská Karolína: Rhymes and shouts - CD

The new album from singer-songwriter Karolína Kamberská, formerly one half of and the songwriter for the duo Sestry Steinovy, is aimed at a different audience than her solo debut, Hořkosladce. Although, perhaps not so different after all.

“Although it's an album of songs for children, I was also thinking of the parents when I was writing them. There are a lot of little jokes in there just for them, because I suspect they'll have to listen to the album many, many times. After all, children love repetition ad nauseam.” The album is called Říkadla a křikadla (Nursery Rhymes and Shouty Rhymes) and it's as delightfully untidy as its target audience. The fifteen songs and one bonus track primarily feature a hefty dose of witty children's poetry, underscored by the harmony of three experienced musicians.
