Karel Čapek: Nine Fairy Tales - selection 3

The selection of Čapek's fairy tales includes "professional" stories: The Great Police Fairy Tale, The Postman's Fairy Tale, The Great Doctor's Fairy Tale

They are united, among other things, by the author's sense of humour, rich language, clear points, Čapek's humanity and timelessness. From all this, the author's genius emerges. The Great Doctor's Tale contains five other tales: The Princess of Solimán, The Case of Hejkal, The Case of Havlovice the Waterman and The Case of Rusalka.

The fairy tales are read by a prominent personality of Czech culture - an actor, Screenwriter, poet, Writer, editor and moderator Miloň Čepelka, who became famous mainly as a protagonist and founding member of the Jára Cimrman Theatre. It is the first audiobook he has recorded and AudioStory presents it to Mr. Čepelka as a gift for his 80th birthday.
