Karel Čapek: Silence with T. G. Masaryk

Part of the file Hovory s TGM (Talks with TGM), which was made in 1928-1935 by the writer Karel Čapek on the basis of interviews with the first Czechoslovak president. Behind the creation of the Talks there are many hours spent with Masaryk, whether speaking or silent, but for Čapek the silence was also important for the overall understanding of Masaryk's personality. How was the file created? The author did not take notes during the interviews, he processed everything retrospectively and in great detail. However, the manuscript was left by T. G.
