Karel Hynek Mácha - DVD

Mácha's novel The Gypsies is rejected by the censors, causing outrage among students and actors. Hynek gets so angry that he refuses to attend theatre rehearsals and jealously guards his Lori. He sees his second chance to show off his art in the composition of celebratory verses for the arrival of the Emperor at his coronation. However, he is not successful in this case either. Therefore, he is fully concentrating on finishing his poetic composition May and completing his studies. When Máj is finally published, it is not critically acclaimed, but it achieves great acclaim among students. Mácha manages to get a job as an adjunct in Litoměřice and plans to marry Lori.
