Karel Poláček: Everything for the company

Karel Poláček's novella All for the Company was first published as a sequel in Lidové noviny and was never published as a whole during the author's lifetime, the first time it was published posthumously in 1966. Poláček himself did not underestimate this work - he also wrote a play on the same theme, Father of His Son. Cheerful daddy Adolf Štorkán and his pedantic son Jiří will do everything to save the company. They marry so intricately that in the end it is hard to tell who is the father and who is the son.
