King Crimson: Three Of A Perfect Pair

LP Record Released in just nine months, from October 1981 to July 1982, "Three of a Perfect Pair" is the final part of a trilogy that began with the albums "Discipline" and "Beat". Originally released in April 1984, it secured the band's status as one of the most interesting and innovative of the decade with its pointed minimalism on the title track, the driving rhythm of "Sleepless", and the closing "Larks' Tongues in Aspic III" – the only nod to the 1970s King Crimson. The album is an incomparable blend of rock, electronica, funk, and pure pop. As with previous albums in the King Crimson CD/DVD-A series, the CD features a new stereo mix by Robert Fripp and Steven Wilson, and the DVD-A includes a 5.
