Knight

Genevieve Daylee never expected to be standing before a judge on her 27th birthday. But so much unexpected has happened recently that she might have expected it. Her mother, the woman she had always admired and adored, is gone, left behind with secrets and lies. Her half-brother hates her, and her father, whom she first met at her mother's grave, is as much a stranger as Isaiah Reynolds, who now stands before the judge beside her. Isaiah is her savior. Though rather than a prince on a white horse, he's a tattered knight in crumpled armour. All she knows about him is that he works as a mechanic, but from now on she will share her life with him. He has just become her husband.
