Knights of Slavelon

Young Prince Richard must find a bride and succeed his father as king. But his uncle, who wants to put his own son on the throne, tries to stop him. He devises a plan to poison the prince. The prince falls gravely ill, his soul leaves his body, and for a time he must exist only as a ghost. During this time, he must save a princess from a dragon and reclaim his kingdom.
The second part of the story takes place about twenty years later. The main hero, King Richard's son, Prince Zdislav, finds a dragon's egg in the rocks. When he comes of age, he has a dream that he is the dragon that hatched from this egg. To his horror, he discovers that his dream has become a reality. By day he lives as a prince, and by night he awakens in a dragon's body to protect his loved ones and a beautiful princess.
