Knit cupcakes

The book in the Skilful Hands series focuses mainly on knitting simple baskets and basketry products using only a few basic tools. Here you will find techniques suitable for beginners to intermediate. Some of the techniques are easily acquired by primary school children, so these techniques are also suitable for school teaching. The individual instructions are accompanied by both photographs and illustrative drawings. You will learn in detail about different basketry materials (pedic, willow wicker, seagrass, corn string, paper cords and wires), methods of material treatment such as dyeing and basic techniques of knitting itself.
