Kotvald Petr: LX - CD

In the year of his significant jubilee, Petr Kotvald came up with a new studio album, which is a significant work of the young composer Martin Blažek, the keyboardist of Peter' s accompanying band Trik. Marek Sloup is seconded by Pavel Cmíral' s brilliant texts and surprise is also Peter' s first lyricist.

Among the twelve songs are pop songs, ballads, but also chanson or - as Petr and Martin say with a smile - Cartney with country elements.
This is the new Petr Kotvald. Distinctly acoustic, a little different and yet the way his loyal listeners like it: don' t expect retro, but surprisingly many song moods, distinctive melodies and carefully constructed refrains, the gift of an emotional message in a distinctive singing speech and an admirable insight.
Mature Petr Kotvald is obviously enjoying the interpretation of so many stylistically different songs on the new album.
