Kraftwerk: Remixes (2x CD) - CD

A compilation of remixes from 1990-2007 was released digitally in 2020 and is now available on physical media.

German Kraftwerk are one of the seminal bands in music history. They are considered innovators and true pioneers of electronic music. Since becoming popular in the 1970s, Kraftwerk has charmed and influenced many other artists. At first they were part of the German krautrock scene, experimenting with rock on their first albums, later they fully embraced electronic sounds, using not only synthesizers and drum machines, but also instruments of their own making. On the commercially successful albums Autobahn (1974), Trans-Europe Express (1977) and The Man-Machine (1978), they defined the basic features of a style called robot pop, which included strict styling and image. In 2014, Kraftwerk won a Grammy Award for Lifetime Achievement.
