Kryštof: Srdcebeat - CD

Srdcebeat is the seventh studio album from the popular Czech band Kryštof.

Kryštof fans will find ten songs on the new album, including the title track Srdcebeat, which has conquered Czech music radio stations. “It's a song about unconditional love, without all the ifs, maybes, perhapses, and buts, and without compromises or the desire to change or be changed. Is there a chance of receiving it from someone other than our children? Are we capable of it ourselves? How many of us have encountered it in our lives? That's what I wrote Srdcebeat about,” says Richard Krajčo, the band's frontman, introducing the new song.

Optimism, euphoria, love, and a touch of melancholy – the new album has it all, from the cheerful opening track 'Každé ráno' to the climactic ballad 'Ty a já'. While recording the album at Sono Studio near Prague and during mixing and mastering in New York, Kryštof opted for a modern pop sound, blending classic rock instruments with brass and electronics.

Just as with the successful album Inzerát three years ago, American producers Yaron Fuchs and Ido Zmishlany are behind this new record. The latter has previously worked on the album Handwritten by singer Shawn Mendes, which has been one of this year's best-sellers in the USA.
