Ladě: Kalná - CD

The subtitle 'A Crude Chanson' only partly captures what awaits you when you listen to this extraordinary album. The very slow start to the opening song, which cuts like a razor blade, gradually prepares you for the next eleven tracks – stories that, in their rawness and uncompromising nature, are a bit like life shoved under your fingernail with a needle. A truly visceral experience. The third album from the band Ladě is extreme in the truest sense of the word. It sends shivers down your spine and brings tears to your eyes. It is intense, carved from the marrow of nights and days, and charged with something terrifying. If you enjoy walking barefoot on a knife's edge under a starlit sky, this is an excellent choice.
