A tempting offer to commit a crime

Readers of the popular crime stories by the well-known author and retired commissioner of the Criminal Service know very well that the head of the Písek Crime Squad, Captain Karas, with Lieutenants Studnička, Mach and Investigator Vandová have belonged to Písek for years, just as Otava or the Stone Bridge belong to this town. In his new book, he once again offers a much-needed dose of suspense, but also a perfect insight into everyday police work. The titles of the stories - e.g. Cop, who didn't have his day, The League of the Lost, A stolen trick, The silent partner in crime, A sin from the past, Mindhunter - they promise original plots and enjoyable reading.
