Lakestone: Heart of Darkness

In the seemingly peaceful American town of Ewing, Iris is studying for her semester exams in the quiet and dim light of the library. Miles away, an unknown killer freezes in the bitterly cold night, as icy as the corpse he is burying.

The two have absolutely nothing in common, yet they are bound by the same goal: to get a decent amount of money. Iris, so she can pay her tuition fees, and the hitman, so he can complete his assignment.

An assignment in which she plays the leading role.

Iris's fate thus becomes closely intertwined with this man's life, and a connection is formed that awakens both his curiosity and his desire. Overnight, the young student finds herself torn from the routine of her daily life and at the mercy of a killer preceded by a reputation as an impulsive madman. A madman raised to kill.

A madman named Lakestone.
