Land of Hope - DVD

Businessman Steve Butler (Matt Damon) arrives in a rural town with his business partner Sue Thomason (Frances McDormand). The city is badly shaken by the economic crisis and both merchants feel there is a chance to strike a bargain with the purchase of local residents' property. It should be the only way to save the entire city. But the easy business suddenly turns into a bitter fight, led by locally respected teacher Sam Yates (Hal Holbrook), who gains a powerful ally in Dustin Noble (John Krasinski), who wages a fierce public campaign against the pending deal, but especially Steve.
