Confessions of a woman who experiences several fateful moments at once: She tries to overcome herself in extreme conditions, but a tragic love almost brings her to her knees. Women and mountains, men and modern art. A contemporary novel about partner relationships, accentuating current themes of the postmodern era, not least the theme of female sexuality and the position of women in Czech society. A journey through the American wilderness is also a pilgrimage into the depths of one's own memory. DANIELA NACHÁZELOVÁ is a former top rower, writer, publicist, entrepreneur and future sports diplomat. She attended four colleges, graduating from two of them. She wrote and published her first book, a monograph on the sculptor Josef Klimes, The Sculptor from Vysočina, when she was twenty-one. More books followed after her racing career ended. She first wrote interviews and reports for the paid online media 067.cz. Her mentor was science journalist Petr Koubský. She later wrote and published interviews in English from the rowing environment Women's Voices in Rowing (2020) and Hidden Voices in Rowing (2022). The novel Landscape of the Body is her literary debut. ANITA KRAUSOVÁ after graduating from DAMU, majoring in alternative and puppet theatre, spent two semesters as an intern at the Ernst Busch Hochschule für Schauspielkunst in Berlin. After her return, she worked at the Drama Studio in Ústí nad Labem. Since 2014, he has collaborated intensively with a number of mainly alternative scenes - MeetFactory, A studio Rubín, Divadlo X10, Studio Hrdinů and others. She is a founding member of the theatre group Kolonie, with whom she completed an eight-week internship in Hammerfest, Norway, during the preparation of the production Three Boys and a Hammer directed by J. Ducks; she also guest starred as the Foreign Princess in the musical production of The Little Mermaid by H. Ch. Andersen on the stage of Theater Bremen. He regularly collaborates with Czech Television (Vodník, Rapl II, Ombudsman), HBO (Pustina, Bezvědomí) and Czech Radio (Radio Wave). He is involved in the production of podcasts and is also involved in audiobook loading.
