Langerová Aneta: Na Radosti - LP

Together with pianist, composer and producer Jakub Zitek, Aneta Langerová worked for two years on songs, original music and lyrics. They sought inspiration in a magical place surrounded by deep Šumava forests.

“ There is a place in Radosti where time stood still and with it the stories of the people who lived there. Only two cottages remained alone, statue of Mary doll and ruin of chapel, around which the wishes of those who used to go there every day, to find hope comfort and reconciliation. Nearby is a house where nuns served until the 1960s and cared for orphans. We fell in love with the place, enchanted us and drew the stories we want to tell into the story., ”Says Aneta Langerová.

On the album Na Radosti you will find 12 original songs about girls and women, which are united by their purity, fragility but at the same time courage and determination to go their own way. They can listen to their inner voice and find the strength to overcome any obstacle that life puts in their way. Sometimes they may be perceived as different by others, but their otherness stems from a desire to lead a good life in which they are honest with themselves.

Authenticity. A special melody. Strong stories - such is Aneta Langerová' s new album, on which melodic songs spill over from a chanson statement with piano accompaniment through a raw band performance to suggestive to cinematic symphonic instrumentation. The overall sound of the album is also characterized by guitar riffs and “home-made“ sound samples - an empty coffee mug with a spoon, body sounds, burning and crackling stoves or the sounds of the Šumava forest.

I' m glad that the gramophone records haven' t been forgotten yet. There is a memory with every record in my collection. It was as if she carried the scent of all the moments I had listened to in the past. I like the magical rustling of the turntable, which gives the records even more authenticity, depth and a unique atmosphere. And so I sit quietly, enjoying the beautiful sound and thinking about everything that is important to me in life.
