Far off the Scottish coast is the Isle of Mull, where many superstitions still circulate among its inhabitants. The Clarks come here in search of a new life, but when their daughter disappears, they encounter only indifference from the locals. So the parents hire Canadian private investigator Sadie Levesque. She's been through a lot, but after discovering a brutally murdered girl in the bowels of a cave, she gets a shock. During the investigation, ancient myths, legends and pagan rituals are awakened.
