Let the innocent tremble

A family can be a small universe full of secrets. And when narrated by a kid with zero social life and a good dose of made-up diseases...

The problem arises when Nic's wishes start coming true - and someone dies. Everyone in his family has a motive to kill. Day by day, Nico tries to reconstruct the events that preceded the disaster, while searching for the moment when his parents became strangers and liars.

Could it have something to do with the fact that his father, an engineer in search of thermodynamic happiness, had at some point started filling the house with objects he would like to invent himself? Or did it all start when his mother - with a title that's been dusting in a drawer - dreamed of getting lost in books and disappearing forever? Or was it the exact moment Nico looked at his uncle and was horrified that he was beginning to look like him? As a result, everyone carries a secret, a guilt, and a reason to hide the truth.
