Let's Fly - DVD

Richard is a sparrow. And everyone knows it. Everyone except Richard. This little orphaned bird is raised by a stork family, has a stork brother, a stork mum, and a stork dad, and is, of course, convinced he was born a stork himself. But the time comes for his adoptive family to head south for the winter, and they have to leave Richard behind. And so, a grand bird odyssey begins.

Stork or not, sparrow or not, Richard has wings for a reason and sets off for distant Africa on his own. On his journey across Europe, he meets Olga, a crazy owl with an invisible imaginary friend named Oleg, and Kiki, a vain, egocentric parrot who loves singing disco more than anything and, incidentally, is terrified of heights.

This extravagant flock brings fun and courage to the skies. They aren't afraid to hop on a train, and they won't be stopped by dangerous bats, internet-addicted pigeons, or mafia crows. But when they finally do reach their longed-for destination in Africa, the battle isn't over. With his friends' help, Richard must save his stork brother from the clutches of a giant honey badger and come to terms with his harsh species classification. Richard becomes the greatest sparrow far and wide, but to everyone else, he will forever be a stork.
