Liberation

Inspired by the true story of World War II heroine Nancy Wake. At the age of 16, Nancy left her native Australia to find a new home and the love of her life in Marseille. However, during the Nazi occupation she was unable to stand aside and as the increasingly famous and more elusive White Mouse she became a thorn in the side of the German forces. When she was discovered, she had to flee to England, while her husband Henri was detained by the Gestapo. But Nancy doesn't give up - after hard training, she returns to SS and Gestapo infested France to help free her new home and her beloved Henri. This gripping story, based on true events, chronicles the life of one of the most courageous women of the last century.
