Life or In the end they all die

The ending found all the characters in this book at the same time. But were they ready when he arrived sooner than they expected? Anna accepted it, she's not gonna be a perfect mother, and Marie, that to the people, like her, good things just don't happen? Did Ben realise that he couldn't survive without his father's money, and Charlotte realised that he wasn't the only person in the world? We live our lives knowing that one day it will end. Just like in this book. Somewhere along the way we forget this, we play immortal and hope... Now it's time to remind ourselves and think about how we want to spend the brief intermezzo before the inevitable end in which everyone dies anyway.
