Lazy parent

Idle and idle to better parenting

Do you also feel that you have become slaves to your children? But there is a way out of overzealous parenting. There is a simple solution that will make your life easier and less costly, make your children's lives more joyful, and help you raise happy and self-sufficient children. The author of the book calls this solution "lazy parenting" and his mantra is simple: "Leave them alone." Because a lazy parent is a good parent. Such a philosophy can probably be off-putting to the modern, busy parent because we are constantly being told to do more. No, it's not. The problem is not that we don't put enough work into parenting, but that we do too much. By over-interfering in our children's lives, we prevent them from growing up and taking care of themselves. Withdraw. Let them live. Welcome to the school of lazy parenting. It is a guaranteed success for both parties - you will have less work and your child will only gain, you and your children will learn to enjoy everyday life and also to be independent and self-reliant.
Tom Hodgkinson presents a revolutionary yet completely natural approach to child rearing. It is based on the simple but brilliant idea of D. H. Lawrence that the best thing we can do for our children is to leave them alone. Of course, this does not mean neglecting them. But let's give them enough freedom to grow into self-sufficient, confident, happy and free individuals. Let's stop grafting and instead develop children's natural instincts for creativity and independence. We will benefit not only them, but also ourselves.
The Lazy Parent is a great book for anyone who is desperate not to know how to raise their child and who is looking for good advice and practical examples. And above all, this book shows that parenting can be fun, not a nightmare.
