Lipa Peter: In the Best Years (2x LP) - LP

In the Best Years is a great album by Slovak jazz superlegend Petr Lipa. The album was originally released in 2001 and was realized by Slovak authors and performers, e.g. lyricist Lasica, Strasser, Russians, or musicians Gašpar, Dumbass, Tatar, Juraj Lehotský etc. On this album, Lipa proved himself not only as a unique singer, but also as a composer; is the author or co-author of all 18 songs. The icing on the cake are the two superhit live bonuses Prosperity and Maturity. The album is being re-released on vinyl after 20 years.

Peter Lipa (vocals), Juraj Tatar (keyboards), Martin Gaspar (bass), Marcel Buntaj (drums), Michal Žáček (soprano and tenor saxophone, flute, bass clarinet); and guests: Sonia Norris, Helenka Krajciova (vocal), Juraj Kupec (guitar), Peter Bic (guitar), Juraj Lehotsky (trumpet), Frantisek Karnok (trombone), Igor Szabo, Jakub Kupcik (percussion)
