Little Sisters and Christmas Cards

The war is drawing to a close, but the nurses at the Nightingale Hospital are still fighting. Dora Riley wants nothing more than for her husband to return home safely for Christmas. At work, she has been put in charge of a ward full of German prisoners, and now she must find the strength to care for her enemies. Her colleague Kitty also finds it repulsive to tend to the men who killed her beloved brother. But then she falls in love with one of them… And Helen Denton? She returns from Europe with a dark secret – she has her own reasons to hate the Germans. Can the women overcome their personal feelings to fulfil their duty and care for all patients without distinction?
