Lloyd Charles: Trios: Chapel - LP

Charles Lloyd has long been a masterful musician and visionary with a free spirit. For more than six decades, the legendary saxophonist and composer has astonished the music world and, at 84, remains at the peak of his powers and as prolific as ever. Lloyd's restless creativity as a seeker of sound has perhaps found no greater expression than on his latest masterpiece, Trio of Trios, a sprawling project that spans three albums, each of which presents a deft change of musical context that presents him in a different trio setting. This is the first of them on CD.
