Love & Mercy - DVD

This biographical drama tells the story of Brian Wilson, the frontman and songwriter of the famous band The Beach Boys. After a panic attack, Wilson abandons the old hits full of surfing, girls, and sunny beaches, deciding to create a new album differently by listening to his inner voices. However, while working on the album Pet Sounds, he descends into psychotic states.

Twenty years later, his mental health is paradoxically being undermined by the methods of psychotherapist Eugene Landy. The real medicine for his soul seems to be a meeting with Melinda, a beautiful Cadillac saleswoman. This film, which reveals the inner world of Brian Wilson, also uncovers his unique artistic methods used when recording his now-legendary hits.
