Ludvík Aškenazy: Little Christmas

Jakub's magical Christmas Eve journey through Prague begins at the carp vat on Wenceslas Square, where the boy loses his daddy, leads to the Lesser Town, where Jacob meets a lamplighter and a girl with matches, with a mail horse, who's actually a mare named Karlicka, and the postmaster Clement. He ends up at the police station, from where the direct route home to his parents leads. Radio not only Christmas classics. A short story by Ludvík Aškenazy in a masterful interpretation by Karel Höger.
