Macklemore: Ben - CD

Despite a number of releases, "Ben" is only Macklemore's third solo studio album. The first single from the album was a joint track with Tones and I "Chant" a few months ago, which was recently followed by the track "Heroes" featuring DJ Premier.

Rapper Ben Haggerty aka Macklemore hails from Seattle and has released several EPs, mixtapes and solo albums. However, his most notable pairing was with producer Ryan Lewis. Together they took the world by storm with their 2012 debut The Heist, which included the successful singles Can't Hold Us, Same Love and Thrift Shop. The album was released in independent distribution without the support of a label, yet it reached number two on the US chart immediately after its release. In January 2014, it earned the pair four Grammy Awards, in addition to being nominated in three other categories.
